ABSTRACT

Following the rapid scientific and technological development in this new era of global industrial transformation, the tourism industry has overcome the severe challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic by taking advantage of new development opportunities. Digital technologies, such as big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and fifth-generation mobile communications have released the huge potential for promoting the development of the high-quality cultural tourism integration. Scholars have explored the benefits of developing and improving the quality of cultural tourism integration in addition to how the digital economy can promote the development of cultural tourism integration. Most existing research has regarded the digital economy as a means to promote the development of cultural tourism integration;however, there is relatively little systematic research on the logical mechanism, transmission channels, and practical paths that enable the high-quality development of cultural tourism integration. Therefore, this paper systematically explores the logical mechanism, direct effects, and transmission mechanisms in the digital economy that promote the development of high-quality cultural tourism integration. The study findings open up the "black box"of developing high-quality cultural tourism integration and help to establish its scientific basis in the digital economy. Based on a systematic explanation of how the digital economy enables the high-quality development and transmission of cultural tourism integration through organizational, technological, and product innovation channels, this paper conducts empirical testing using 2011-2020 panel data from 30 Chinese provinces (excluding Tibet, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan of Chian) and obtains three main findings. First, the digital economy has a positive enabling effect on the development of high-quality cultural tourism integration, which has been verified in benchmark regression, instrumental variable regression, and robustness testing. Second, this enabling effect shows regional differences. For example, East China benefits from its relatively well-developed digital economy and can enjoy the dividends from its high-quality cultural tourism destinations. However, although West China has seen rapid growth in its digital economy, the region also shows a trend of increasing marginal effects from its enabling effect, while the digital economy's enabling trend in Central China still needs to be strengthened. Third, by constructing a transmission channel, that is, "digital economy-organization-technology-product innovation-developmental quality of cultural tourism integration", we find that the digital economy can positively promote the development of high-quality cultural tourism integration by regulating transmission channels for innovation, such as organizational, technological, and product innovation. According to the research conclusions, measures to promote the development of high-quality cultural tourism integration in the digital economy should be taken in the following four areas. First, local governments and cultural tourism departments should deepen their development strategies to integrate the digital economy with the real economy and systematically cultivate new drivers for the development of high-quality cultural tourism integration. Second, a digital cultural tourism platform should be built to optimize the value creation mechanism for the development of high-quality cultural tourism integration. Third, regional heterogeneity characteristics should be combined with the digital economy's enabling effect to implement a differentiated digital cultural tourism development strategy. Fourth, organizational, technological, and product innovation advantages should be cultivated to expand the transmission channels for the development of high-quality cultural tourism integration within the digital economy.

ABSTRACT

Opportunities to participate in physical activities (PA) and fitness exercises in public and private facilities have been reduced or banned due to social distancing regulations during the height of the global pandemic. Though Korea has not experienced lockdown, several venues have been restricted to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Despite the limitations of PA engagement, people have found alternative activities by using online platforms to keep active and fit. Thus, this study focuses on analyzing fitness-related video titles from YouTube. By collecting data through text mining and conducting network analysis, it provides basic knowledge of the fitness trends from pre- and post-Covid-19. As a result, 'exercise' was found to have the highest tendency and had strong connections to keywords that indicated specific methods of working out to become fit, but it also had connections to trendy keywords such as 'hip-up' and 'body-profile' which reflect the fitness culture in Korea.

ABSTRACT

Background: Telemedicine is the delivery of Health Care Services using information and communication technologies. Most models of Telemedicine in developed countries involve high-cost infrastructure. The COVID-19 pandemic imposed lockdowns and travel restrictions have highlighted the importance and the necessity of an economically viable model of telemedicine for resource-poor countries like India. Methods: We conducted a prospective study to assess the feasibility, acceptability and effectiveness of low-cost model of Telemedicine services for regular follow-up as well as for triaging. A combination of WhatsApp/email using smartphones and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system was used to provide Telemedicine services. At the end of the e-consult, the patient/ parents were asked to rate their experience on a scale of 0 to 10. Results: A total of 155 children and 865 consults were included. The mean age of the children was 8.5 years. Forty-four consultations were given to 12 (7.7%) International patients. Thirty-eight (24.5%) patients were seen for the first time via Teleconsultation and the remaining 117 (75.5%) were follow-up patients. The most common diagnosis was Nephrotic Syndrome (51.6%) followed by Chronic Kidney Disease (21.9%), Urinary Tract Infection (10.3%), Kidney-transplant follow-up (6.4%), Acute Glomerulonephritis (3.8%), and Acute Kidney Injury (2.6%). Twenty-three patients were advised admission after the Teleconsultation and the remaining 122 children were advised follow-up e-consults. The mean satisfaction score reported for e-consults was 9.4. Conclusion: Our low-cost Telemedicine model offered a viable modality for delivery of Paediatric Nephrology Services during lockdown period and can be replicated by pediatricians practicing other subspecialties as well.

ABSTRACT

In Bangladesh, app-based online food delivery services are gaining popularity. The increased use of mobile phones and the affordability of the internet aided businesses in meeting new customer demands such as food delivery to the customers' homes. Thus, the primary goal of this research is to identify the factors influencing customer intention to use food delivery apps (FDAs) during COVID-19. Data are collected using a structured questionnaire and analysed quantitatively using partial least square structured equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Results show that price value and convenience are the most influential factors affecting the intention to use FDAs during COVID-19. There is, however, insufficient evidence to demonstrate the influence of the other three factors (e.g., service quality, delivery experience, ease of use) on FDA use intention. A better understanding of emerging student consumers will assist management in leveraging the factors that must be considered when providing services to this market.

ABSTRACT

Does channeling government-to-person (G2P) payments through bank accounts encourage financial inclusion and use? This paper explores the factors that have driven the adoption of digital payments in India by beneficiaries of PMGKY, the large-scale COVID-19 relief program launched in May 2020. India's 2013 move to pay social benefits through direct transfers into bank accounts significantly increased account ownership, but uptake of digital payments has been slower, although it has accelerated more recently through smartphone-based apps. Recipient survey data shows that personal and household attributes influence the likelihood of adopting digital payments. Smartphone ownership and digital literacy improve the odds while being a woman reduces them. The strength of the local digital payments ecosystem also exerts significant influence on household adoption;favorable personal and ecosystem factors are needed for widespread use. The historical progression shows that G2P transfers create an entry point but that widespread access to low-cost mobile telecommunications, interoperability, and the entry of new players offering convenient payments interfaces have been vital to the growth of digital payments.

ABSTRACT

The spread of novel coronavirus Covid-19 at the beginning of March 2020 significantly squeezed agri sector, especially fruits and vegetables. The closure of schools, restaurants, offices, and others has shifted supplies of agribusiness to retail channels. One of the prevailing issues faced by farmers in managing crops and finding a conducive place to market their products. In this view, the farmers' marketplace needs to evolve to continuously supply farmers' products to consumers. Agriculture itself is undergoing a fourth revolution activated by the use of information and communication technology (ICT). This paper provides insights into how mobile app technologies can promote in solving the agri and allied sector related glitches like soil degradation, excessive water, emissions, pollution, the market place, etc. We find mobile app features have widely developed for farmers, distributors, and producers together valuable data, observe fields, and manage crops to optimize the processes. Mobile apps and cloud computing become a hub of solutions. In this global pandemic, providing support to farmers with useful and practical agricultural information can improve their economic development and eventually give a good impact on the country.

ABSTRACT

It is hardly surprising that the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted both stress levels and sleep patterns. According to a survey by the American Psychological Association, two out of three persons have admitted to feeling more stressed out during the pandemic, and four out of ten claim to have had sleep issues during the pandemic. Consumers are increasingly looking for ways to manage with stress and sleep problems, from mobile apps like Headspace and Sleep Cycle to food and beverage products that claim to offer comfort. Herbal teas, particularly those containing chamomile, valerian root, or lavender, have long been popular for aiding sleep and relieving stress, but recent product launches in this area go beyond more conventional offerings. For instance, Nightfood Holdings has introduced Nightfood sleep-friendly ice cream in hotels throughout more than 40 states in the nation. The frozen treat is designed to satisfy ice cream cravings at night while being more sleep-friendly. It comprises vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that may promote sleep in addition to having less sugar and fat. The variety of snacks and beverages that aid in improving sleep quality and lowering stress will keep expanding as studies delve deeper into more nutritional elements.

ABSTRACT

If equity of access is a priority, communication technology has the ability to significantly increase access to eye health care. Digital technologies are a part of everyday life and, when used in the healthcare industry, have the potential to significantly enhance people's health. The World Health Assembly's adoption of the Global Strategy on Digital Health in 2020 encourages the development of digital health services to enhance health outcomes. There is also growing agreement that more people will be able to take advantage of universal health coverage thanks to the use of cutting-edge digital breakthroughs and technologies. Big data, artificial intelligence, genomics, wearable technology, and communication technologies are all included under the general phrase "digital health." The emphasis in this issue is mostly on communication technologies, including telehealth, telemedicine, and teleconsultations (often known as "mHealth"). These have evolved into essential resources for providing healthcare, in part as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic's pressures. Communication technology has a lot of promise to contribute to the provision of high-quality, reasonably priced healthcare. But there are difficulties. As our article on advances in refractive error shows, new technology can be expensive and as a result, must be well adapted to the demands of the community where it will be utilized as well as of adequate quality to justify the financial investment made. Existing disparities in communities' access to technology, infrastructure, and education present another significant obstacle. If we want to prevent escalating currently present health imbalances, we must use technology in a manner that is appropriate, equitable, and ethical. When adding communication, they should focus on factors like inadequate internet connectivity, low digital literacy, and lack of access to broadband internet and smartphones, often known as "digital determinants of health." As a result, this issue's papers offer recommendations for creating inclusive and accessible teleophthalmology services for persons with disabilities, limited digital literacy, and those without internet access, while safeguarding patient data and privacy. This article also talk about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in eye care and the necessity for fair AI service development.

ABSTRACT

This paper highlights the specific aspects of the eighth wave of SHARE in which face-to-face interviewing has been suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, and a methodological turn has been made, i.e. face-to-face interviews have been replaced with a short CATI (telephone) survey called "SHARE Corona". From the database of insured persons of the Croatian Health Insurance Fund (HZZO), 4,990 persons born in 1963 and earlier were randomly selected. In all countries that had refresher samples, the response rate was 51.3% at the household level and 46.8% at the individual level. The seventh SHARE wave, called SHARELIFE, was mainly retrospective, accomplishing a full EU coverage. As a part of the seventh wave, a relatively small refresher sample was selected in Croatia i.e. 346 interviews were conducted in 234 households. The minimum satisfactory response rate of 30% was achieved at the household level. In Croatia, the retention rate of respondents in the seventh wave was 84.6%, which was the highest retention rate of respondents between waves six and seven. In Slovenia, it was 82.9%, in Greece 82.8%, in Estonia 82.2%, in Belgium 70.4%, in France 64.9%, and in Italy 62%. The sampling procedure for the refresher sample in wave eight in Croatia followed the standard phases of two-stage sampling. Primary sampling units were polling stations selected based on a probability proportional to the number of voters aged 50+ at each polling station. The sample was stratified by counties and by settlement size. In the second phase, the gross sample of individuals aged 50 or older was selected randomly. The SHARE study today faces a number of challenges, the most prominent ones being the retention of European coverage due to lack of funding and the future method of surveying in the light of COVID-19. In Croatia, joining the SHARE study was marked by significant challenges. Firstly, SHARE is the first longitudinal study on demographic ageing conducted in our country. Secondly, the SHARE survey requires ample financial resources, so the size of the Croatian sample had to be adjusted accordingly and to meet high scientific standards set by the SHARE study. The third significant challenge that the SHARE research team faced were barriers to accessing the sampling framework. Substantial efforts were undertaken to demonstrate that the SHARE study adheres to all ethical standards and regulations related to the protection of the personal data of respondents. Another issue was the limited number of survey agencies in Croatia that can conduct demanding surveys of this type.

OBJECTIVE: To understand the status of pollution of cell phones of health care workers from neonatal intensive care unit(NICU) and explore the effect of frequency of regular disinfection on hygiene of cell phones so as to reduce the pollution of cell phones. METHODS: A questionnaire survey was conducted for the status of use of cell phones among the health care workers, the samples were collected from the cell phones of three groups of health care workers that were disinfected with different frequencies by using sterile sponge sticks. Chi square test was carried out to analyze the impact of use habit of cell phones on the hygiene and the impact of different frequencies of disinfection on the hygiene of cell phones. RESULTS: A total of 46 health care workers were enrolled in the study, all of them used touch-screen cell phones, 97.83% of the health care workers used the cell phone when working, 17.39% used sometimes;13.04% of the health care workers never carried out hand hygiene after they used cell phones, only 1(2.17%) health care worker carried out hand hygiene every time after use;the frequency of regular cleaning of cell phones was less than once per day among 69.57% of the health care workers. The majority of the health care workers used disposable disinfectant wipes for the cleaning of cell phones;15.22% of the health care workers used disposable protective covers. The cell phones of 32 health care workers were sampled, the qualified rate of the samples was 34.38%, and pathogens were not isolated. The cell phones maintained clean by using the disposable protective covers. There was no significant difference in the qualified rate of hygiene among the cell phones with different frequencies of disinfection. CONCLUSION: The regular cleaning and disinfection of the cell phones may effectively reduce the bacterial colonization on the surfaces of cell phones, and the use of disposable protective covers may keep the cell phones relatively clean.

ABSTRACT

Nomophobia is rising among high school students, especially in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, such as social distancing, long-term online learning, and lack of social support. Many studies have also shown that students with high levels of nomophobia have a higher risk of stress. However, very few researchers are interested in studying loneliness as a mediation factor for the relationship between nomophobia and stress. This study investigated whether the loneliness factor is a mediator in the relationship between nomophobia and stress in Vietnamese high school students. Participants include 556 Vietnamese high school students. Participants completed the Nomophobia Scale, Depression Anxiety Stress Scales 21, The UCLA loneliness scale version 3. In this research, to test variable relationships, the mediation analyzing method by the PROCESS macro 3.5 will be applied. The research concludes that for Vietnam high school students, the mediating role of loneliness was identified in the relationship between nomophobia and stress. It is a suggestion through this research that nomophobia preventive and mitigating measures should reduce loneliness in students.

ABSTRACT

The study carried out an assessment of the perceptions of health professionals in Nigeria on the awareness messaging on COVID-19 directed at the public using the SMS (Short Message Service) Technology. The researcher focused on health professionals in the metropolitan areas of Nigeria as the respondents. A structured questionnaire titled "health professionals' perception on awareness of messaging on COVID-19" was used to collect data from the respondents. The mode of data collection was a questionnaire survey administered online. The findings suggest that health professionals who participated in the survey have a very positive perception of the usefulness and appropriateness, coverage, and impact of the COVID-19 broadcast messages from the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC);their responses show that the short messages were sent to Nigerians from different backgrounds and locations to inform the populace about the outbreak of COVID-19, prevention, knowledge about early symptoms, how to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in case of infection and what to do in case of emergency. Additionally, the research outcomes show that SMS broadcast was the leading channel of information dissemination and reception for COVID-19 response as against the traditional channel of information dissemination on radio, TV, and others. These findings have highlighted the importance and value of digital health services such as SMS technology in responding to health emergencies.

ABSTRACT

Primipara are often faced the difficulty and even failure in breastfeeding, the low of lactation management is the main cause. This research aimed to assess the difference in lactation management education media on increasing knowledge, attitude, and practice of lactation management in primipara aged 0-3 months at the Sudiang Raya Public Health Center Makassar City. The research method was a quasi-experimental design with a pre-posttest control group design. The total sample was 60 primiparas who had infants aged 0-3 months (30 intervention groups, 30 control groups). Sampling was done by a simple random sampling. The intervention group used modern media, namely an apllication based on smartphone called MOMASI (Mobile Lactation Management) used for 12 weeks and the control group used a conventional media, leaflets. Data were analyzed using Paired T-test, Independent T-test, Mann Whitney and Chi-Square. The results showed, before education there was no significant difference between the two groups on the average score of knowledge, attitude, and lactation management practice (p= 0.671, 0.910, 0.095;p > 0.000). In the intervention and control groups, there was a significant increase on the average score of knowledge, attitude, and practice of lactation management between before and after the intervention (p=0.000). After education, there was a significant difference between the two groups on the average score of knowledge, attitude, and practice of lactation management (p=0.000). In the difference on the average scores of knowledge, attitude, and practice of lactation management after the intervention, the MOMASI group was better than the Leaflet group. MOMASI and Leaflets can improve knowledge, attitude, and practice of lactation management. However, MOMASI is more efficient and effective in Communication, Information and Education (KIE), especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

ABSTRACT

Background/Objectives: The Republic of Korea is still a good example of k-prevention which SMS played a big role in real time. Therefore, the effect of SMS and covid 19 preventive behavior was studied. Methods/Statistical analysis: The survey respondents were focused on university students in the Chungnam region of Korea. The number of survey respondents was 135, 53 male students, 39.3%, and 82 female students, 60.7%. Looking at the distribution by grade, the fourth year was the most with 66 students and 48.9%, followed by the third year with 29 students and 21.5%, and the second year with 22 students and 16.3%. Findings: Looking at the table3 shaded areas, the CFA result of AVE.5 or less and CR.7 or less, perceived sensitivity and perceived disability, did not secure concentration validity. -As a result of CFA, the main concepts for this study were found to be inappropriate for analyzing the research model. Accordingly, analysis is performed using regression analysis rather than structural equations. The diagonal matrix for each factor in italics is the variance extraction index. The correlation between subjective norm and behavioral intention was highest (r=.703), perceived benefit (r=.655), perceived seriousness (r=.493), perceived sensitivity (r=.491) It also shows a significant relationship with the back. However, there was no significant relationship between perceived disability and behavioral intention. As a result of conducting multiple regression analysis of the concepts constituting the health belief model as an independent variable with behavioral intention as a dependent variable, self-efficacy (beta=.439, p<.001) and perceived benefit (beta=.321, p) Only <.001 appears to have a significant effect. Improvements/Applications: The SMS is helpful in preventing one's own health that the perceived benefit affects the preventive behavior. Therefore, the local governments that send the SMS is helpful in the position of the recipient.
